Job Summary
Implement applicable operating, human resources, and safety policies for the golf shop and outside services. Handle cash flow, balance sales receipts, and assist in preparing operating and capital budgets. Monitor staff performance, maintain cleanliness and merchandise displays, and track golf rounds played. Schedule tee times, manage customer inquiries and complaints, and conduct individual and group lesson programs. Organize and implement tournaments, outings, leagues, and teaching clinics while selling merchandise and ensuring efficient service operations. Submit required reports and analyze budget variances. Work flexible hours including nights and weekends.
Required Qualifications
- Must be enrolled in PGA Professional Management Program
- Must also be able to read and write English
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree, preferred
- Minimum one-year experience in the golf or hospitality industry preferred
- Demonstrated experience and capability in the areas of retailing, marketing and sales, customer service, and guest relations preferred
- Demonstrated quality written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to analyze and solve problems, efficiently handle multiple duties under pressure with minimal supervision, work flexible hours as required including nights and weekends
- Must present self in a positive and professional manner and appearance in all situations
