Assistant Golf Pro

Job Summary
Assist in the management of daily golf and club operations to deliver exceptional member and guest experiences. Support the Head Golf Professional in tournaments, instructional programs, retail operations, staff supervision (scheduling, payroll, performance tracking, training), and maintaining high service standards across golf services. Responsibilities include coordinating operations, managing cart fleet, supervising practice facilities, supporting instruction programs, monitoring pace of play, preparing tournaments/events, maintaining inventory, contributing to retail, and collaborating with other departments to ensure seamless cross-functional operations.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Class A PGA Professional or actively pursuing PGA membership
- Minimum of three years of experience in golf operations, hospitality, or related industry preferred
- Knowledge of golf rules, etiquette, and tournament operations
- Experience with golf instruction and player development programs
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and golf management software
- Experience supervising staff, managing schedules, payroll, and performance reviews
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high service standards
- Valid driver’s license
- Strong organizational and administrative skills
- Enrollment in PGA Professional Golf Management (PGM) program preferred
Additional Requirements
- Health and safety requirements: ability to perform physical tasks, stand/walk for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs, operate golf carts; exposure to outdoor conditions; use protective measures with chemicals/equipment
