Job Summary
The Assistant Golf Course Superintendent is responsible for overseeing golf course maintenance and construction, ensuring turf grass maintenance meets established standards. This role includes supervising maintenance staff, assisting with budgeting, planning and organizing maintenance activities, managing plant and turf cultural practices, and ensuring compliance with regulations. The position requires leadership in training and orienting new staff and involves hands-on management of resources while maintaining safety and environmental standards.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in agronomy, horticulture, plant/soil science or equivalent
- Three to four years related experience and/or training
- Valid Driver’s License
- Pesticide Application License

- Ability to read and speak English
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
