Job Summary
Assist the head coach with organizing the Golf program. Instructs, guides, and motivates student athletes in game strategies and techniques; conducts practices; holds organizational meetings; assesses players’ skills and assigns positions; develops regular practice schedules; coordinates with the Varsity Head Coach and Director of Athletics to schedule facilities for practices and competitions; monitors academic eligibility; communicates with the athletic trainer regarding injuries; promotes Dominican values and represents athletic program to media and community; maintains equipment and records; participates in meetings and special activities.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 60 completed college hours
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Previous coaching and/or playing experience at the high school varsity level or higher
- Valid driver’s license
- Completion of Safe Haven training
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Previous coaching and/or playing experience at the high school varsity level or higher
- Validity of driver’s license and clean driving record
