Job Summary
Oversee gym operations to ensure an exceptional Judgement Free member experience and financial success. Assist in recruiting, hiring, training, and developing staff consisting of Member Service Representatives, Trainers, and Custodians. Provide backup support to the Club Manager and manage front desk activities including phone answering, member check-ins, new sign-ups, tours, and request facilitation. Supervise daily staff scheduling, maintain facility cleanliness, order supplies within budget, and track weekly, monthly, and annual statistics. Resolve employee issues and escalate concerns as needed. Full-time Monday through Thursday (2:00 PM to 10:00 PM) and Friday (1:00 PM to 9:00 PM) with 8-hour shifts. Current CPR certification required.
Required Qualifications
- Must have a satisfactory background check.
- Superior customer service skills, preferably in the fitness industry.
- Punctuality and reliability is a must.
- Exceptional leadership, diplomacy and listening skills.
- Basic computer proficiency.
- Hard working, enthusiastic, energetic, upbeat, and positive attitude!
- Strong problem resolution skills.
- Current CPR Certification required (employer-provided).
- High school diploma/GED equivalent required.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Must be able to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
- Will occasionally encounter toxic chemicals during shift.
