Job Summary
Assist in overseeing gym operations and provide backup to Club Manager; recruit/hire/train/develop staff including Member Service Representatives, Trainers and Custodians; schedule and supervise staff; ensure a welcoming atmosphere and exceptional member experience; front desk duties (answer phones, check members in, new member sign-up, tours); resolve employee issues; oversee cleanliness and maintenance; assist in ordering supplies and tracking statistics/reports; participate in budgeting within club requirements; CPR certification and strong customer service, leadership, reliability, and problem-resolution skills; shifts include 2-10pm Mon-Thu and 9-5pm Sun; benefits include health/dental/vision, PTO, 401k after 3 months; must pass background check and be 18+ with HS diploma or GED.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Satisfactory background check
- Current CPR Certification
- Superior customer service skills
- Punctuality and reliability
- Exceptional leadership, diplomacy and listening skills
- Basic computer proficiency
