Assistant Global Sourcing Manager

Job Summary
Assist Global Sourcing Manager to implement private brand sourcing strategies and meet category objectives; collect data and analyze for RFPs, category/classification and vendor analyses; manage vendor setup and item setup with cross-functional partners; monitor sample approvals and flag delays; support cost negotiations and communicate shortages/delivery issues to merchant and inventory teams; review QC issues with cross-functional teams and advise vendors; organize cross-functional meetings and prepare information for vendor-matrix reviews and visits; collaborate with overseas offices and vendors to ensure timely execution.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- 2+ years of experience with a major retailer, brand or product development/sourcing company in a sourcing, production, buying or product development role
- Intermediate to Advanced Excel Skills
- Ability to multitask and shift priorities
- Strong communication (written and verbal) and attention to detail
- Strong analytical skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast paced and constantly evolving environment
