Job Summary
Assistant Girls Volleyball Coach responsible for organizing and supervising all aspects of the program at Smoky Hill High School, including planning and implementing practice sessions, developing individual and team training plans, ensuring athlete clearance, maintaining equipment inventories, and adhering to CC SD/Centennial League/CHSAA rules. The role supports the head coach in reporting scores and schedules, monitoring attendance and academic status, and applying first-aid/CPR and concussion protocols as required by CHSAA and CHSSA guidelines.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Colorado Coaching Certificate
- Pass CHSAA coaches test
- Acquire CHSSA coaching registration
- Complete concussion course per State Legislation and CHSAA By-Laws
- CPR & AED Certification required
- Previous successful teaching, coaching and/or sport participation experience
- Must be able to meet physical demands (lifting, standing, etc.)
