Job Summary
Assistant Girls Tennis Coach for the 2026 season at Guilford High School. Responsibilities include guiding student athletes to develop skill, discipline, sportsmanship, and citizenship; planning and communicating practice schedules and competition strategies; coordinating fundraisers and athletic finances; distributing and tracking uniforms and inventory; ensuring student-athletes meet district requirements and eligibility standards; engaging in professional development and supporting the strength/conditioning program. Requires adherence to NFHS/IHSA and district policies, regular attendance, and the ability to work with coaching staff to promote the tennis program. Stipend-based role with seasonal timing (8/10/2026 - 10/31/2026) and potential travel as described in working conditions.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Illinois Teachers Certificate and/or Meets IHSA Criteria (Qualification of Coaches - 2.070)
- Previous football coach experience preferred
