Job Summary
Design practice sessions and administer a comprehensive program alongside the varsity head coach while supervising student athletes. Implement rules and procedures defined by the Worthington School District to instruct athletes in fundamental skills, strategy, and physical training. Serve as a role model demonstrating behaviors that foster character development, self-discipline, and confidence. Upgrade coaching knowledge through clinics, observations, and consultation to support individual and team success. Reports to the head girls dance coach and activities director.
Required Qualifications
- Has previous successful coaching experience in assigned sport
- Substantial knowledge of the technical aspects of the sport
- Ability to examine new theories and procedures pertinent to the field
- Ability to serve as an appropriate role model for student athletes through instructions and actions
