Job Summary
Assistant Girls Bowling Coach for the 2026-2027 school year at Graham-Kapowsin High (Bethel School District). The role supports the head coach in implementing the athletics program, develops athletes' fundamentals, and fosters organizational and motivational skills. Requires coaching experience, ability to model behavior per the Coaches Handbook, willingness to participate in required health trainings (Hepatitis B vaccination if needed, Hepatitis B/HIV training), and fingerprint-based background check. Minimum ages: head coach 21+, assistant coach 19+. Classroom teaching experience is preferred but not required.
Required Qualifications
- Enthusiasm for athletics
- Available for all related activities
- Demonstrates knowledge of assigned sports fundamentals
- Organizational and motivational skills
- Ability to model behavior as outlined in Coaches Handbook
- Successful coaching experience and training over a period of years
- Willingness to support the total athletic program
- Current First Aid and CPR card
- Hepatitis B vaccination if necessary and district training on Hepatitis B/HIV
- Fingerprinting for background check
- Head coaches must be 21+; Assistant coaches must be 19+
- Classroom teacher is preferred but not required
