Job Summary
Assist with planning and delivering basketball coaching for student-athletes at Nease High School. Responsibilities include developing detailed practice plans, teaching fundamentals, maintaining equipment, monitoring players’ physical condition, ensuring safety and compliance with school policies, and collaborating with the Head Coach to support program goals. Must stay current with developments in coaching theory and literature, while serving as a positive role model and adhering to Florida education and athletics certification requirements. Strong knowledge of basketball techniques, safety procedures, and the ability to communicate effectively with students and staff are essential.
Required Qualifications
- Florida Educator Certificate or Florida Athletic Coaching Certificate
