Job Summary
Assist the head coach in delivering the high school basketball program, supervise and safeguard students on the court and during practice/competition, assume head coach responsibilities in their absence, ensure compliance with IHSAA rules, state Board of Education guidelines, and district policies, participate in safety and legal training (CPR/first aid), attend district workshops, and support student skill development, discipline, and ethical conduct; interact with staff, students, and the public and perform all other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Idaho Teaching Certificate preferred
- Ability to work with staff, students, and the public
- Current CPR certification
- Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable
