Job Summary
Manage sales operations and customer experience by collaborating with your team to exceed daily targets, ensuring an inclusive environment, and educating visitors on brand values like ethical sourcing and handmade products. Drive revenue through strong business acumen, informed product recommendations, and active floor behaviors that impact key metrics. Support the shop manager as second-in-command, handling delegated duties to maintain operational excellence, including strict adherence to policies, health and safety protocols, and visual merchandising standards. Oversee staffing by scheduling peak hours, managing attendance, and recruiting top-performing talent while fostering team engagement and development. Work flexible hours including evenings and weekends to meet store needs.
Required Qualifications
- 1-3 years managing or supervising in a retail environment
- Excellent listening and communication skills
- Excellent analytical, critical thinking and troubleshooting skills
- Excellent organization and time management skills
- Strong customer service, supervisory and sales skills
- Knowledge and interest in skincare, natural beauty and ethical business
- Ability to work flexible hours to meet the needs of the shop including holidays, evenings and weekends
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with consultation-based customer service models
- Ability to develop and train staff through positive coaching and feedback
- Proficient in excel, Microsoft suit, and adaptable to other systems as required
- Basic HR skills in hiring, scheduling, training, and performance management
- Experience in cross cultural collaboration and DEIB or social justice training
- Fluency in Spanish, French or other languages
