Job Summary
Oversee all aspects of restaurant operations by assisting the General Manager in managing daily activities, ensuring food quality, and maintaining strict health and safety standards. Lead a team of shift managers and staff to drive operational excellence, handle guest complaints, and implement promotional events. Manage financial performance through budgeting, cost controls, and inventory management while supervising scheduling and labor optimization. Mentor employees, conduct performance evaluations, and ensure compliance with local regulations and company policies. Support the General Manager in reporting to senior leadership and execute community engagement initiatives to build brand awareness.
Required Qualifications
- At least 2 years of management experience in the restaurant or hospitality industry
- Experience in a fast-casual or quick-service restaurant
- Proven ability to lead and develop a team
- Strong customer service skills
- Experience in managing budgets, controlling costs, and achieving financial targets
- Ability to quickly analyze situations and develop effective solutions to operational or customer-related issues
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, tasks, and staff
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to stand for extended periods (4-8+ hours) with periodic breaks
- Capability to walk up and down stairs and use a step ladder as needed
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly
- Ability to move around the kitchen quickly and efficiently
- Compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations
- Flexible scheduling, including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Awareness of temperature fluctuations and safe practices
- Awareness of potential hazards such as hot surfaces, sharp objects, and wet floors
Desired Qualifications
