Job Summary
Assistant General Manager with Maintenance Lead responsibilities to manage day-to-day carwash operations, supervise staff, and oversee maintenance tasks. Direct cars into wash tunnels, ensure safety protocols, perform facility cleaning, monitor inventory, manage cash handling, address customer escalations, and assist with recruiting and team development. Maintenance Lead duties include completing required trainings, maintaining backroom organization, performing preventive maintenance on equipment (belts, bearings, oil changes, solenoids, valves), conducting conveyor checks, keeping MaintainX checklists up-to-date, and assisting with larger repairs as needed. Flexible hours before opening and after closing; must stay current on company policies and training.
Required Qualifications
- HS Diploma or GED equivalent
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Moderate proficiency in MS Office, including Excel
- Passionate about creating genuine connections with team members and providing excellent customer service
- A minimum of 1 year of car wash experience is preferred
