Job Summary
Assistant General Manager at Topgolf leads venue operations by overseeing department managers and teams to deliver best-in-class guest experiences, profitability, and operational standards. The role involves coaching leaders, owning day-to-day execution, stepping in as acting GM when needed, forecasting and managing sales/expenses, and driving engagement and staffing across all departments. The AGM stays visible on the floor, champions hospitality, builds community relationships, and upholds Topgolf's core values (Fun, One Team, Excellence, Courage, Caring). Requirements include 5+ years in venue management (with 2+ years in AGM/GM roles in multi-unit operations), a preferred Bachelor’s degree, ability to obtain location licenses/certifications, and eligibility to work (21+). The position requires a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, holidays, and extended hours during peak periods and events.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of restaurant, hotel, or entertainment venue management experience
- including at least 2 recent years as an Assistant General Manager or General Manager in a multi-unit operation
- Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred; equivalent combination of education and professional experience will be considered
- Must be 21 years of age or older as required by state or local law
- Ability to obtain required licenses and certifications for your location
