Job Summary
Oversee a front-of-house restaurant service team with hiring, scheduling and training; ensure high-level guest service and a memorable dining experience; supervise daily cash handling, opening/closing procedures, and maintain cleanliness and safety standards; collaborate with kitchen for prep/ plating as needed; manage wine service at tableside and assist with events; communicate menu knowledge and specials, and foster a service-first environment; requires strong leadership, guest relations, and operational coordination across servers, bartenders, and staff, with responsibility for safety, quality assurance, and guest satisfaction; prior F&B supervisory experience and familiarity with POS systems (Micros) and reservation software (OpenTable) are preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Prior experience as a Food and Beverage Supervisor
- Prior guest relations training
- Knowledge of proper food handling
- Strong written / verbal communication skills
- Attention to detail, speed, accuracy, follow-through, courtesy, cooperativeness and work with a minimum of supervision
- Punctuality and regular and reliable attendance
- Interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with co-workers and the public
- Proper food safety training and certification as described by law
- Experience working with computers (MS Office/Google) / POS systems (Micros) / Reservations software (Open Table)
