Job Summary
Assistant Salon Director responsible for maintaining a high-energy, client-centric environment, driving store performance, and supervising Tanning Consultants to achieve company goals. Lead by example in operations, coaching and training team members, generating sales reports, managing inventory, and assisting with top-line revenue and expense control. Ensure staffing levels for maximum productivity and exceptional customer service while controlling labor costs. Roles require night and weekend availability; five days per week, approximately 40–45 hours. Strong leadership, sales/management experience, and the ability to foster a professional, clean salon environment are essential.
Required Qualifications
- Management and/or Sales experience required
- College education preferred, but not required
- Basic Computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Ability to manage effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of client service techniques and operational practices
- Problem-solving and organizational/planning skills
- Strong leadership skills and ability to coach and mentor
- Team building skills
- Ability to prioritize and delegate
- Physical ability to stand, walk, lift, and perform cleaning tasks as part of salon operations
Desired Qualifications
- College education preferred
- Management and/or Sales experience required
- Ability to work nights as well as Saturdays and Sundays as required to provide management coverage
