Job Summary
Lead hotel operations as Assistant General Manager (AGM) at Sonesta ES Suites San Francisco Airport Oyster Point Waterfront. Oversee Front Office leadership and guest experience, accounting/financial controls, housekeeping leadership, and maintenance/risk management. In the GM's absence, serve as GM-in-Charge and support hiring, training, coaching, and performance documentation. Responsibilities include overseeing Front Desk operations (GSAs, Night Audit), training and coaching Front Desk and Housekeeping teams, cash handling and payroll accuracy, budgeting and forecasting, ensuring brand cleanliness standards, safety/compliance (OSHA, fire life safety, WS safety), and maintaining audit readiness. Requires 3–5 years of hotel management experience, strong leadership and communication skills, and the ability to lead diverse teams in a fast-paced, multi-department environment. Flexible to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3–5 years of successful hotel management experience (Department head level and higher)
- Proven leadership ability with experience managing and developing teams
- Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated experience in Front Desk operations and guest service leadership
- Working knowledge of Housekeeping and Maintenance operations
- Strong financial acumen, organizational skills, and attention to detail
- Ability to lead diverse teams in a fast-paced, multi-department environment
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
