Job Summary
Partner with the Scenter Manager to run daily operations across the front and back of house, lead the daily huddle, coach the team on safety, service timing, and customer experience; drive key results such as membership sales, rebooks, productivity, and average ticket value; model safety and sanitation standards for dogs; complete opening/closing procedures; manage schedules, timesheets, inventory, ordering, and equipment readiness; handle client concerns professionally; support hiring, onboarding, training, and certification of team members; step in to perform any Scenter role as needed; and take on other tasks assigned by the Scenter Manager.
Required Qualifications
- Prior leadership or supervisory experience, ideally in grooming, pet care, retail, hospitality, or a service business
- Ability to learn and model all Scenter roles and responsibilities, including bathing dogs
- Confidence and empathy handling dogs of all sizes and temperaments
- Ability to lift up to 70 pounds and stand for long periods, with or without reasonable accommodation
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- A reliable means of getting to work
- Willingness to work in a smoke-free environment
