Job Summary
Partner with the General Manager to achieve operational, cultural, and financial goals while leading shifts and ensuring smooth operations. Plan and execute daily schedules, coach team members, and manage cash transactions, inventory, and product quality. Assist with payroll, recruit and onboard staff, monitor labor and sales performance, and partner on maintenance and vendor communications. Deliver memorable hospitality, resolve guest concerns, and participate in community events. This role supports the launch of Salt & Straw's first Utah shop, combining hands-on leadership with operational execution to build a strong team and neighborhood destination.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma/GED
- 2+ years of food service, fast-casual dining, or hospitality experience
- 18+ months of progressive leadership experience
- Led teams of 10+ Team Members in a high-volume environment
- Ability to coach, develop, and support people with clarity and care
- Excitement to grow into greater leadership responsibility
- Age 18+
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to work in an environment where common food allergens are present, including peanuts, tree nuts, dairy, eggs, soy, wheat, and seafood
- Work authorization confirmation via E-Verify
