Job Summary
Assistant General Manager sought to join a boutique fitness studio team. You will drive revenue through memberships, retail, private training bookings, and instructor training enrollments while leading and training Sales Associates. The role emphasizes lead generation via grassroots marketing, customer service excellence, inventory accuracy, event promotion, and adherence to company policies. You will coordinate staffing with instructors, schedule and participate in community events, support marketing campaigns, and ensure smooth studio operations. Strong English communication, organization, data-management skills, reliability, and a genuine passion for fitness are essential. The position reports to the General Manager, with potential interaction with District Management, and offers hourly compensation plus commission, benefits, and growth opportunities.
Required Qualifications
- Confident in generating personal sales and training Sales Associates in transactions
- Ability to assist in driving revenue streams: memberships & retail sales, private training bookings, and teacher training enrollments
- Must be fluent in English and have excellent communication and strong interpersonal skills in person, on the telephone and via email
- Ability to excel in a fast changing, diverse environment
- Ability to recognize areas of improvement and make changes using good judgement
- An affinity and passion for fitness
- Solid writing and grammar skills
- Highly organized, proficient in data management, ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
- Professional, punctual, reliable, and neat
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
