Job Summary
Supervise operating departments including Guest Services, Food & Beverage, Housekeeping, and Sales to ensure efficient hotel operations during the General Manager's absence. Direct at least three full-time associates while managing revenue generation programs, sales calls, and financial report creation. Enforce brand standards for safety, training, and service delivery across all departments. Participate in required M.O.D. coverage and bi-weekly one-on-ones with Department Heads to facilitate employee development. Maintain regular attendance and compliance with Aimbridge Hospitality scheduling requirements.
Required Qualifications
- At least 5 years progressive experience in a Rooms or F&B department Hotel
- 4-year college degree and at least 2 to 3 years experience in a Rooms or F&B department at a Hotel
- 2-year college degree and at least 3 to 4 years of experience in a Rooms or F&B department at a Hotel
- Previous supervisory experience
- Proficiency in Windows Operating Systems
- Ability to evaluate and select among alternative courses of action quickly and accurately
- Ability to work well in stressful high-pressure situations
- Ability to maintain composure and objectivity under pressure
- Ability to be effective in handling problems in the workplace including anticipating preventing identifying and solving problems as necessary
- Ability to assimilate complex information data etc from disparate sources and consider adjust or modify to meet the constraints of the particular need
- Ability to be effective at listening to understanding clarifying and resolving the concerns and issues raised by co-workers and guests
- Ability to work with and understand financial information and data and basic arithmetic functions
- Ability to convey information and ideas clearly
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
