Job Summary
As an Assistant General Manager at Pizza Ranch, you will be challenged to lead a team that delivers a legendary guest experience and to assist the General Manager in daily restaurant operations and in driving store-level profitability. You will oversee daily operations and guest satisfaction (including FunZone where applicable), train and develop team members, maintain high food quality and safety standards, uphold operational standards, and provide legendary guest service. You will build community engagement by partnering with local organizations, respond to guest complaints quickly, and develop strategies with the General Manager to improve dining experience, minimize waste, lower food costs, and drive sales growth and volume in the restaurant and FunZone where applicable. All roles operate in alignment with Pizza Ranch standards and the Pizza Ranch Way, reporting to the General Manager.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- College Degree preferred
- 2-3 years of restaurant management experience
- Proven record of management, communication, and organizational skills
- Effective communicator and listener with good oral and written communication skills
- Passion for leading and developing people
- Strong multi-tasking skills and the ability to prioritize multiple situations
- Proficient in basic computer skills
- Ability to be mobile and/or on your feet for extended periods of time during the entire shift
