Job Summary
As Assistant General Manager at Papa Johns, you will lead the restaurant operations end-to-end, shaping culture, driving guest satisfaction, and ensuring financial performance. You’ll recruit, train, and develop the team, conduct performance evaluations, manage scheduling, coach for accountability, and build a talent bench. You’ll own budgeting, food and labor cost controls, monitor sales targets, and maintain a healthy P&L. You’ll set and uphold service standards to deliver exceptional guest experiences and manage daily operations from stock and safety compliance to promotional execution and pricing integrity, all to Papa Johns standards. A proven track record in restaurant leadership, strong people skills, financial acumen, and a passion for hospitality are essential.
Required Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of two years in restaurant management or supervision
- Education: High school diploma or GED required
- Certification: ServSafe or local/state food service certification
- Logistics: Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and insurance
- Availability: Must be able to work flexible hours, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays
