Job Summary
Lead day-to-day operations at the PetSuites Arlington Heights resort by partnering with the General Manager to drive financial performance, maintain operational excellence, and deliver outstanding pet care and customer service. Coach Shift Leads and team members on performance metrics, execute daily audits, and resolve client concerns with a solutions mindset. Manage staffing, implement data-driven plans tied to KPIs, and support recruiting and retention efforts while modeling NVA values. Work up to 45 to 50 hours per week, including evenings and weekends, in a hands-on environment requiring physical activity and emergency pet transport.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2 to 4 years of customer service experience
- Strong communication skills
- Comfort leading teams in a hands-on environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Proficiency with point-of-sale systems
- Availability to work up to 45 to 50 hours per week
- Availability to work evenings
- Availability to work weekends
- Valid driver's license
- Current insurance (including comprehensive and collision)
- A vehicle you are willing to transport a pet in during an emergency
- Ability to support and influence workplace change and improvement
