Job Summary
Assistant Store Manager is responsible for assisting the Store Manager in overseeing daily store operations, mentoring team members to provide fast and friendly service, and ensuring customers have a great shopping experience. Responsibilities include stocking merchandise, checking in vendor deliveries, assisting in training, completing shift reports, gas reconciliation, cigarette counts, and maintaining communication across the team. The role requires good communication, the ability to follow instructions, and physical capability to stand for long periods and lift up to 30 pounds. Starting rate listed as $17.50 per hour; in: Middleborough, MA area.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of one year retail experience
- General computer knowledge
- Read, write and operate electronic equipment and sales transactions
- Must be 18 years of age
- Must have own reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
- Must be able to stand, kneel, lift and bend up to 25-30 pounds
