Job Summary
Assistant Store Manager oversees daily store operations, mentors team members to deliver fast and friendly service, and ensures customers have a great shopping experience. Responsibilities include assisting the Store Manager, stocking and replenishing inventory, checking in vendor deliveries, and completing required paperwork such as shift reports, gas reconciliation, and cigarette counts. Requires at least one year of retail experience, basic computer skills, ability to read/write, good communication, physical ability to stand, lift up to 30 pounds, and flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends. Required Qualifications
- Must have minimum of one year retail experience
- Must have general computer knowledge
- Must be able to read, write and operate electronic equipment and sales transactions
- Must be 18 years of age
- Must have own reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license
- Must be able to stand at all times
- Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds
- Must be able to kneel, bend and traverse store areas
- Must be able to follow instructions
- Must be able to work weekends and any shift within operating hours
