Job Summary
Assistant Store Manager is responsible for assisting the Store Manager in overseeing the daily operation of the store. They are responsible for mentoring team members to provide fast and friendly service and ensure every customer receives a great shopping experience. Key duties include stocking and restocking inventory, checking in vendor deliveries, completing required paperwork (shift reports, gas reconciliation, cigarette counts, etc.), assisting in training, and supporting store management as needed. Must read, write, and operate electronic equipment and sales transactions; maintain courteous, friendly attitude; communicate effectively; and be able to stand, kneel, and lift up to 30 pounds. Required Qualifications
- Must have minimum of one year retail experience
- Must have general computer knowledge
- Must be able to read, write and operate electronic equipment and sales transactions
- Must have good communication skills
- Must be able to stand at all times
- Must be able to kneel, lift and bend up to 25 pounds
- Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds at times
- Must be able to traverse and access all areas of the store
- Must be 18 years of age
- Must have own reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license
