Job Summary
Assistant General Manager oversees the Membership Specialist team with support from the General Manager to drive gym membership, private coaching attachment, and sales goals. Responsibilities include sales execution on key metrics, lead generation and appointment setting, hitting guest and financial targets, weekend management and planning, staffing and development of the Membership Specialist Team, ensuring a high-energy, customer-focused member experience, and acting as Manager on Duty when needed. Requires ability to train and coach staff, monitor performance, adhere to Time & Labor policies, and collaborate with leadership to achieve gym goals; role emphasizes leadership, sales, guest engagement, and operational efficiency within a UFC Gym environment.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- 1-2 years of management experience supervising 3-10 employees preferred
- Experience managing reports, budgeting, revenue, payroll, and/or demonstrated math analytical skills preferred
- Strong organizational skills and customer service orientation with proven results
- Experience with MS Office and basic computer skills
- Strong leadership, communication, time management, and analytical abilities
