Job Summary
Assistant General Manager for the Garden Co. taproom overseeing in-person operations, training, events, inventory, POS transactions, beverage preparation, and staff management to deliver exceptional guest experiences. Leads daily operations, opening/closing procedures, staff scheduling, and ensures compliance with alcohol regulations. Collaborates with marketing and management to keep posters/signage up to date, mentors team, executes private events, and maintains high standards for service, cleanliness, and overall taproom performance.
Required Qualifications
- At least 3 years of bar or restaurant senior management experience, in a fast-paced environment.
- Proven track record of hiring, building, and growing strong and diverse teams.
- Business acumen with ability to identify insights from P&L and KPIs to build actionable plans and drive results.
- Dynamic, action-oriented team player that is self-motivated and confident in independent decision-making.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- High sense of urgency and energy.
- Flexible schedule with the ability to work nights and weekends as needed.
- Familiarity with restaurant POS and back-office systems.
- Computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Google Docs.
