Job Summary
Assist the General Manager in all departments in the effort to generate profit, meet or exceed budget expectations, and maintain operational and guest service standards. Directly supervise all departments, including front office, housekeeping, sales, and engineering to ensure all departments and brand standards are being met and operational efficiencies are being realized. Key duties include hiring, training, scheduling within forecast and budget guidelines, assisting in department forecasts, processing accounts receivable, monitoring budgets, reviewing daily reports, supporting accounting/end-of-month procedures, championing brand initiatives, ensuring guest requests are fulfilled, managing brand/OTA messaging, updating availability, minimizing lost revenue through proper charge postings, ensuring effective cash control, overseeing GSS scores and action plans, maintaining employee morale and guest-focused service culture, ensuring training compliance, overseeing preventative maintenance with engineering, supervising breakfast service, conducting department inspections, educating department heads on emergency procedures, applying the LEAR N model for guest recovery, maintaining a welcoming demeanor, facilitating effective communication, creating employee engagement activities, maintaining hotel programs for QA criteria, and participating in the MOD program with regular weekend work. Initiating duties as directed by management. Salary range is $70,000 - $77,000 per year. This company is an equal opportunity employer.
