Job Summary
Oversee day-to-day operations of the community, including occupancy and financial performance, while ensuring compliance with local, state, federal, and accrediting body standards. Direct programs for training and development of department leaders, supervise staff through interviews, hiring, scheduling, and performance reviews, and maintain monthly financials to drive expenditure control. Function as sales leader to achieve occupancy goals, pull together resources to resolve resident and operational issues, and actively solicit feedback from residents, families, and associates. Assist the General Manager in planning, development, implementation, and evaluation of operational standards, ensuring accurate, timely, and professional service to all residents while upholding Inspir philosophy and values.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in experience in human services management, or nursing home management
- 7-10 years of progressive experience in human services management and/or senior living management
- Must possess proven leadership and management skills
- Experience working with seniors including those with memory care needs
- Excellent customer service and public relations skills
- Free of communicable diseases
- Must be able to convey & understand information and ideas in English
- Must be able to evaluate and select among alternative courses of action quickly and accurately
- Must be effective in handling problems in the workplace, including anticipating, preventing, identifying, and solving problems as necessary
- Must maintain regular attendance, as required by scheduling which will vary according to the needs of the property
- Must comply at all times with Inspir standards and regulations to encourage safe and efficient operations
- Must institute whatever safety measures are necessary to comply with appropriate company, OSHA regulations and safety procedures
- Must follow all emergency procedures and understand the safety practices
Desired Qualifications
- Pre-leasing and new property pre-opening experience are a plus
