Job Summary
Operational Support: Assist the Resort Manager with daily schedules, staff assignments, and facility efficiency. Lead team development by hiring, training, and mentoring daycare attendants and groomers while conducting performance evaluations. Oversee facility cleanliness and safety across play areas, kennels, and grooming stations, ensuring compliance with health standards. Manage inventory levels, vendor relationships, and supply orders. Coordinate individualized care plans for pets in daycare, boarding, or grooming. Support event planning, promotions, and marketing collaborations. Handle administrative tasks including payroll, scheduling, reporting, budgeting, and financial tracking.
Required Qualifications
- Passion for Animals: A deep love for animals is essential!
- Previous experience in a leadership or supervisory role
- preferably in the pet care or hospitality industry
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- The ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize, and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to think on your feet when unexpected situations arise
- A collaborative mindset and a positive attitude toward teamwork
