Job Summary
Oversee daily operations of a million+ square foot distribution center, lead Operations Managers, and execute daily/weekly operational plans. Drive customer service, maximize quality, throughput, and productivity, and manage a diverse associate population. Foster a safe, positive work environment and ensure adherence to corporate policies while implementing short and long-term plans. Roles require flexibility for multi-shift schedules, including mornings, afternoons, nights, and weekends; lifting up to 70 pounds as needed. Lead efforts in safety culture, budgeting, recruiting and developing management talent, and driving process improvements in a large-volume, automated DC setting.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Transportation, Supply Chain Management, or related field (or equivalent work experience in a related field)
- 5 years of distribution operations experience in a large volume, automated distribution center environment
- 4 years of leadership experience with direct report responsibility
- Proven record of complying with safety requirements, and experience building a culture of safety among subordinates and peers
- Working Knowledge of Microsoft Office including Excel, Access
