Job Summary
The KidStrong Lexington center requires an Assistant General Manager who will partner with the General Manager to drive center operations, sales, and a culture of learning and development for coaches and attending families. Responsibilities include monitoring KPIs and financials, delivering exceptional customer service, maintaining center initiatives (maintenance, training, brand consistency), overseeing scheduling and events, managing lead generation and bookings via CRM, onboarding and coaching staff, and guiding coaching staff through KidStrong curriculum focused on brain, physical, and character development for children aged 15 months to 11 years. The role emphasizes leadership, communication (Slack/Email), staff development through LearnUpon, data recording (attendance, awards), and ensuring safety and high-energy interactions with kids and families. The position requires physical activity (moving equipment, multiple miles per shift) and involves 4 weekday shifts plus 1 weekend shift with hours flexible to center needs. CPR certification and a background in coaching or athletic development are valued, with additional preference for prior pediatric or management experience and familiarity with systems like ZenPlanner, LearnUpon, CareerPlug, and ADP.
Required Qualifications
- Athletic or coaching background with experience working with or coaching kids ages 15 months - 11 years old
- Comfortable speaking to parents/guardians
- Achieve Coach Certification through HQ Training and Certification team
- Complete training through LearnUpon as required by HQ Training and Certification team
- Prior experience as pediatric OT/PT is a plus, but not required
- Previous experience in management is preferred but not required
- Practical work experience with Google and Microsoft platforms
- Previous experience with systems and platforms such as ZenPlanner, LearnUpon, CareerPlug, and ADP is preferred but not required
- CPR certified
