Job Summary
Assistant General Manager at KidStrong Lexington leads center operations, sales, and coaching, collaborating with the General Manager to deliver an exceptional experience for kids and families while driving key business results such as sales and reducing member attrition. Responsibilities include managing KPI and financials, maintaining customer service with families, overseeing center initiatives and maintenance, scheduling events (Camp/Parties) to maximize profitability, drive lead management, booking conversions, and representing the center in community events. The role mentors coaches, supports onboarding and training, coordinates with the HQ/KidStrong teams, and ensures program delivery aligned with the KidStrong curriculum. The position requires coaching experience with children (15 months–11 years), CPR certification, comfort with using LearnUpon and other systems (ZenPlanner, CareerPlug, ADP), and the ability to work a schedule including one weekend shift; reports to the General Manager.
Required Qualifications
- Athletic or coaching background with experience working with or coaching kids ages 15 months - 11 years old
- Coach Certification through the HQ Training and Certification team
- Complete training through LearnUpon as required by the HQ Training and Certification team
- CPR certified
