Job Summary
Lead the Assistant General Manager team by driving revenue growth through guest count and lead measure performance, coaching staff on core sales mix and MultiCare targets. Execute daily team huddles and meetings to set direction for business goals while managing inventory, cash handling, and product orders. Ensure consistent adherence to quality control measures, safety rules, and the Guide to Excellence by maintaining a clean, safe, and presentable service center. Assist the General Manager with budgeting, financial forecasts, and expense controls, while providing guidance to automotive technicians and CSAs. Perform opening and closing duties independently when the GM is off and address guest inquiries in-person or via telephone. Work full-time in a fast-paced retail environment, standing for extended periods and lifting up to 50 pounds.
Required Qualifications
- One to three years of retail management experience
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills
- Proven leadership ability to inspire and motivate diverse groups of people
- Sound business sense and a comprehensive understanding of the retail industry
- Ability to analyze, comprehend, and recommend financial objectives that help increase sales and service results
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- Ability to stand on feet on hard surfaces like concrete or metal
- Ability to lift and move work-related items up to 50 pounds
- Must be at least 18 years of age
