Job Summary
Visible leadership across the health club, combining fitness delivery with operational leadership to deliver exceptional member experiences. You’ll spend ~4 hours daily on fitness activity (personal training, member engagement, fitness coaching) while also steering gym, classes, spa, café and lounge operations, coaching the fitness team, and ensuring high-performance delivery. You’ll open/close the club as a key holder, drive PT performance and revenue, support café operations, and collaborate with the General Manager to meet commercial and operational objectives, all while maintaining outstanding member service.
Required Qualifications
- Level 3 Personal Trainer qualification (essential)
- Experience working within a fitness, health club or leisure environment
- Proven leadership experience managing teams
- Strong understanding of member experience and retention
- Experience driving Personal Training performance and revenue
- Comfortable managing multiple departments within a busy operation
- Confident leading from the front and making decisions in real time
- Excellent communication and people leadership skills
- Passion for health, fitness and delivering exceptional service
