Job Summary
Lead daily operations across aquatics, attractions, admissions, retail, and guest services by maintaining a visible presence on the floor, conducting routine inspections, and resolving guest concerns. Build and develop high-performing teams through coaching, performance accountability, and support for recruiting, training, and retention. Drive financial results by managing labor deployment, inventory controls, and cost containment while assisting in achieving revenue and profitability goals. Ensure facility safety and compliance through proactive incident management, emergency response planning, and partnership with maintenance. Work flexible shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays to support peak periods and special events.
Required Qualifications
- 1-2+ years of leadership experience in hospitality, recreation, aquatics, entertainment, retail, food and beverage, or a related Guest-focused industry
- Proven ability to lead teams, coach performance, resolve conflict, make sound decisions, and drive results in a fast-paced environment
- Working knowledge of labor management, inventory control, cost management, revenue generation, and operational reporting
- Ability to remain visible, engaged, organized, and effective during busy operating periods
- Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the facility for extended periods
- Ability to work in a warm, humid, fast-paced waterpark environment
- Ability to respond quickly to emergencies and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to bend, reach, carry, clean, organize, and assist with operational tasks as needed
- Must be flexible and available to support business needs, including evenings, weekends, holidays, school breaks, special events, staffing shortages, and emergency situations
