Job Summary
Assistant General Manager role at an upscale-casual restaurant in West Michigan Lake Shore. Lead day-to-day operations, recruit/train/develop a management and hourly team, create exceptional guest experiences, manage labor/food/beverage costs and financial performance, uphold service standards, handle scheduling, inventory, purchasing, and vendor relationships, ensure compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and liquor regulations, and partner with ownership on objectives and growth. Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of Restaurant Manager experience
- Experience in upscale-casual, polished casual, or chef-driven restaurant concepts
- Proven success managing high-volume operations
- Strong leadership, communication, and team-building skills
- Demonstrated ability to drive sales and profitability
- Experience hiring and developing management-level talent
- Good financial acumen with knowledge of P&L management
- Passion for hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences
