Assistant General Manager

Assist in daily restaurant operations as Assistant General Manager, overseeing the restaurant's operations in coordination with the General Manager. Responsibilities include hiring and training staff, ensuring guest satisfaction, resolving conflicts, contributing to company culture, coordinating with HR and accounting on invoicing and payroll, reviewing orders, knowledge of the food menu and table numbers, handling payments and refunds, proficiency with Toast POS and OpenTable, strong communication and time-management skills, maintaining customer service standards, managing menus (including third-party delivery apps like Doordash, UberEats, Caviar, Postmates, Grubhub), scheduling, enforcing restaurant policies including health and safety regulations, conducting health inspections, quality control checks, ensuring compliance with capacity and liquor regulations, managing liquor, beer and wine inventory, coordinating with brand and BOH for supplies, and overseeing routine maintenance. The role requires the ability to communicate effectively with customers and staff, stand for extended periods, and work day through night shifts as needed.
