Job Summary
Lead daily operations across aquatics, attractions, admissions, retail, and guest services while maintaining a strong floor presence during peak periods, weekends, and events. Coach associates and supervisors on performance standards, oversee recruiting and training, and conduct routine inspections to ensure safety, cleanliness, and operational excellence. Manage labor deployment, inventory controls, and cost containment to support revenue growth across admissions, retail, and events. Resolve guest concerns promptly and partner with maintenance on facility repairs and emergency response planning. Assist the General Manager in reviewing business trends and driving profitability goals.
Required Qualifications
- 1-2+ years of leadership experience in hospitality, recreation, aquatics, entertainment, retail, food and beverage, or a related Guest-focused industry
- Proven ability to lead teams, coach performance, resolve conflict, make sound decisions, and drive results in a fast-paced environment
- Working knowledge of labor management, inventory control, cost management, revenue generation, and operational reporting
- Ability to remain visible, engaged, organized, and effective during busy operating periods
- Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the facility for extended periods
- Ability to work in a warm, humid, fast-paced waterpark environment
- Ability to respond quickly to emergencies and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to bend, reach, carry, clean, organize, and assist with operational tasks as needed
- Must be flexible and available to support business needs, including evenings, weekends, holidays, school breaks, special events, staffing shortages, and emergency situations
