Job Summary
Provide direct support to the General Manager in all areas of responsibility and serve as acting GM in their absence. Lead, develop, and motivate management and hourly team members to ensure excellence in execution and guest satisfaction. Partner with the Executive Chef to oversee all food and beverage operations, including ordering produce, seafood, and alcohol. Ensure adherence to company policies, safety, and compliance standards while assisting in forecasting, budgeting, and controlling costs. Analyze financial reports to identify growth opportunities, conduct bi-weekly inventory, and oversee scheduling to maintain proper staffing levels. Lead recruitment, interviewing, and hiring efforts to build bench strength. Maintain a positive, team-focused environment with high standards for service, quality food, and a neat, clean restaurant. Drive community involvement, local store marketing, and guest engagement initiatives alongside the GM. Requires four years of high-volume full-service restaurant management experience and the ability to stand, lift up to 35 pounds, and remain calm under pressure.
Required Qualifications
- 4 years high volume, full service restaurant experience in a management position
- Able to speak, read, write and understand the primary language of the work location
- Reach, bend, push & pull items for up to 10 hours each day
- Able to use fingers, hands, arms and shoulders repetitively for up to 6 hours each day
- Able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for multiple hours in length
- Must have a sense of balance, able to bend, kneel and lift items frequently weighing up to 35 pounds
