Job Summary
Assistant General Manager supports the General Manager in the comprehensive management of properties that function as client facilities and Class A commercial assets, combining facility-management with commercial-property-management responsibilities. Key duties include providing general facility-management services and ongoing property monitoring, serving as the primary day-to-day contact for occupants/tenants and visitors, managing work orders with in-house staff and vendors, assisting with budgetary requests and reporting for facility operations and property management, directing vendors and service providers to ensure coordinated execution, and conducting regular property inspections to identify and address maintenance issues before escalation. The role requires strong customer service, relationship-building with diverse stakeholders, problem-solving abilities, and effective communication, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and a detail-oriented, organizational approach.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience in Facilities Management, Property Management, or related field
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in facility management or property management
- Experience in a corporate environment or with third-party service providers
- Strong knowledge of building operations, systems, and maintenance practices
- Excellent customer service orientation and stakeholder relationship skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and strong verbal/written communication
