Job Summary
Lead the sales team to meet targets by driving initiatives, selling memberships and fitness services, and overseeing billing processes. Manage facility maintenance, ensure health and safety compliance, and resolve member concerns while communicating goals to staff. Handle emergencies by calmly directing staff and members to ensure safety. Requires CPR certification within 30 days, ability to lift over 40 lbs, and strong MS Office skills. Eligible for commission, bonuses, and a post-training increase. Required Qualifications
- 2 years of customer service experience
- 3-4 years of sales experience
- 1 year of supervisory experience
- Strong communication skills, both verbally and in writing, for interacting with employees, management, and vendors
- Excellent relationship building and influencing skills with people at all levels and in all functions
- Strong detail orientation; systematic and thorough approach to problem solving; and good time management, organizational, and record-keeping skills
- Excellent MS Office skills
- Must successfully pass background check
- CPR certification required within 30 days of hire
- Ability to work in a gym setting; move about club floors and rooms; communicate with employees, members, and the public
- Ability to bend routinely and repetitively to lift more than 40 lbs
- Ability to access and operate the Company computer system including preparing documents, entering data into computer system, read reports from a computer data base or email system
Desired Qualifications
- Prior experience or strong interest in the fitness industry is a plus
