Job Summary
The Assistant General Manager (AGM) supports the General Manager in directing daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring compliance with company standards in product preparation, customer service, facilities maintenance, and financial accountability. Key responsibilities include assisting in employee training, resolving employee relations, monitoring operations for efficiency, and driving a customer-focused culture. The AGM must hold team members accountable for performance and execute operational excellence while maintaining food safety standards. Strong communication skills and a focus on developing talent are essential.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma / General Educational Development (GED) required
- Minimum of one year experience in restaurant operations or equivalent combination of education and experience
Desired Qualifications
- Associate degree or higher preferred
- Proficient working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
Additional Requirements
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule including days, nights, and weekends
- May be required to travel to other locations
