Job Summary
The Assistant General Manager (AGM) is responsible for supporting the General Manager in overseeing daily restaurant operations, ensuring compliance with company standards, and driving customer service excellence. Key responsibilities include selecting and training staff, managing employee performance, monitoring food safety and operational procedures, analyzing sales and inventory, and maintaining a customer-focused culture. The role requires effective communication, a focus on developing talent, accountability, and a capacity to work in a fast-paced environment. A high school diploma or GED is required, along with at least one year of restaurant operations experience.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma /GED required
- Minimum of one year experience in restaurant operations or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule including days, nights, and weekends
Desired Qualifications
- Associate degree or higher preferred
- Proficient working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
