Job Summary
Assistant General Manager at Curio Wellness drives store operations and guest experience, leads staff recruitment, onboarding, training and development, and sets performance expectations. Ensures compliance with Maryland Medical Cannabis Commission regulations, maintains SOPs, conducts store audits, and monitors financial performance. Responsible for revenue growth, budgeting, pricing decisions with the Corporate/Marketing team, inventory management, cash handling, and security. Shares leadership responsibility with the General Manager, schedules personnel, and collaborates with marketing to execute store strategies. Requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, 2+ years of retail leadership, strong communication, data-driven mindset, and willingness to work retail hours. Must be 21+ and comply with state background check requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or four years of equivalent job-related experience
- 2+ years in Retail Store leadership
- Must be 21 years old
